METHOD FOR SLIDE TRANSFER OF TRANSFER SHEET HAVING SANDBLAST MASK LAYER OR DRAFT APPLIED PATTERN LAYER FORMED THERETO BY SCREEN PRINTING TO UNGLAZED ARTICLE

PURPOSE:To perform slide transfer while overcoming the water absorbability of an unglazed article, by providing a prepositive process forming a coating film of a size solution dissolved by a non-drying solvent to the surface of the unglazed article not accepting slide transfer. CONSTITUTION:A non-drying size solution prepared using a non-drying solvent is applied to the surface of an unglazed article 1 such as the tray body by spraying to form a coating film 2. A draft applied pattern layer 13 is printed on the water-soluble size layer 12 of a water absorbable sheet 11 by screen printing and, further, a transfer sheet 15 provided with a cover coat 14 having releasability is immersed in water to swell the water-soluble size layer 12 and, after excessive bonded moisture is removed, the pattern layer 13 and the cover coat 14 constituting the support film of said layer are separated from the water absorbable sheet 11 by a slide method to be moved to the coating film 2 of the unglazed article 1 by sliding. The cover coat 14 is rubbed with a rubber squeeze from above under pressure to remove the coating film 2 from the surface of the unglazed article 1 as much as possible and the pattern layer 13 is transferred to the surface of the unglazed article 1.
