MANUFACTURE OF ELECTRICAL STEEL SHEET HAVING SMALL MAGNETIC ANISOTROPY AND SUPERIOR CHARACTERISTIC IN WEAK MAGNETIC FIELD

PURPOSE:To manufacture an electrical steel sheet having small magnetic anisotropy and superior characteristics in a weak magnetic field by subjecting a hot rolled steel sheet contg. specified amounts of C and Si to primary cold rolling, process annealing and secondary cold rolling under specified conditions. CONSTITUTION:A hot rolled steel sheet contg. 0.02wt% C and 0.1-4.5wt% Si is subjected to primary cold rolling, process annealing and secondary cold rolling to manufacture an electrical steel sheet. At this time, the secondary cold rolling is carried out at 1-15% draft and =500m/min rolling rate. The resulting steel sheet is subjected to finish annealing as required.
