TEST SYSTEM FOR MT SYSTEM TEST PROGRAM

摘要

PURPOSE:To test an MT system test program without waiting for the completion of an actual MT system device as the test object by using a communication control processor, which has MT system simulating firmware which simulates the MT system device, as an artificial I/O. CONSTITUTION:A host CPU 1, a channel 2, and a communication control proces sor (CCP) 3 functioning as the artificial I/O are provided. The CCP 3 has the operation simulating function to secure the transfer operation of data and a status dependent upon a channel command, and the channel 2 is accessed by this operation. Consequently, the test is independent of the development stage of the actual machine, and the test program can be verified beforehand. Thus, the MT system test program is tested without waiting for the completion of the actual MT system device as the test object.
