PURPOSE:To use a transfer means both for a work and fastening and to improve a space efficiency, by mounting a receiving and feeding head on a transfer means for a work and delivering the clamp fed from a part feeder to a fastening means via the receiving and feeding head. CONSTITUTION:Transfer means 10, 11, 12 are moved to a work receiving position and works b, c are received from the hunger conveyor 13 of a work transfer means. Receiving and feeding heads 22, 23, 24 are mounted on the transfer means 10, 11, 12 and the transfer means 10, 11, 12 are moved to a clamp feeding position in this state. Now the clamp of a bolt, etc., is fed from a part feeder to the receiving and feeding heads 22, 23, 24, thereafter the works b, c are received to assembly robots 4, 5 by moving the transfer means 10, 11, 12 to the work delivery place. Simultaneously the clamp is delivery to fastening robots 15, 16, 17 from the receiving and feeding heads 22, 23, 24, and then transfer means 10, 11, 12 are returned to the work receiving position for the succeeding work transfer.
