PURPOSE:To obtain the above broad sweeping board having the small expansion and contraction of size due to the temperature change of an atmosphere by composing the broad sweeping board having thickness at a specified value of a broad sweeping board base material impregnated with a dimensional stabilized resin and a protective layer consisting of a synthetic resin formed on one main surface of a broad sweeping board material. CONSTITUTION:The broad sweeping board base material 11 having thickness within a range of 2mm-5mm is impregnated with a glyoxal dimensional stabilized resin, and the transparent protective layer 12 of a synthetic resin such as an urethane resin is formed on one main surface and side faces of the broad sweeping board base material 11. The expansion and contraction of the size of a broad sweeping board 10 due to the changes of humidity and a temperature can be reduced by impregnating the broad sweeping board 10 with the dimensional stabilized resin, thus minimally inhibiting an adverse effect due to the expansion and contraction of the size of the broad sweeping board 10. Since one main surface and side faces of the base material 11 are protected by the protective layers 12, the broad sweeping board 10 abounds in waterproofness, and prevents corrosion and is difficult to be abrased.
