The invention relates to a method for preparing electrically conductivepolymers derived from 3-alkylthiophenes by chemical polymerisation of3-alkylthiophene by means of a ferric salt, an alkyl halide and water. Theinvention also relates to electroconductive devices containing the poly(3-alkylthiophenes) obtained and a thermoplastic polymer.
