The Nora variety has a powerful, beardy root, a thick stem (up to 3 cm) and height of 20 to 25 cm; big, juicy, green to dark-green leaves, which along with the phoney stem reach to 90 cm. The plant looks more like a PRAZ rather than garlic. The bulb is big, up to 10 cm in diameter and 100 g in weight, with a circular flat form, with a pearly white cover of 3 to 4 flakes. The cloves are relatively uniform in size, while theri average number in a bulb is 16.5; their flakes have a non-saturated rosy-wine color with an antocyanic shade. The variety is moderately hot and is rich in Vitamin C.
