CALCIUM-ALLOYED ALUMINIUM GALVANIC ANODES FOR CATHODIC PROTECTION IN SWEET WATER AND SOIL

Al anodes alloyed with Ca offer cathodic protection in soil and fresh water. The anodes are fitted with steel inserts to ensure good electric contact and physical anchorings. Anodes placed in soil are surrounded by an embedding medium. Ribbon shaped anodes are in contact with surface of metal pipes and structures and are covered by neutral corrosion protection or heat insulating cpds. Opt. easily dismantled contacts are made to facilitate replacement. The anodes are compatible with portable water supply systems. - The detectors are located in the described order, along the flow of the exhaust gas. The 'fine' sensor branch is connected to the 'rough' sensor branch, and the fresh air inlet branch via remotely operable valves. - (Dwg.1/1)
