Attachment saddle for undersea pipelines - consists of spacer, sealing strips and extensions to fasten pipes in bundles

Lengthways sealing strips (4) with extensions (5) abut a large dia. pipe (1) and extensions (6) grip a smaller one (2). The pref. material for the sealing strips and extensions is PVC. Correct sepn. of the pipes is achieved by means of a spacer (7). Such saddles have been used with lengths of about 3.6m, fastened to the pipes by bands at intervals of about one metre. They are intended for use along the entire length of a pipeline bundle.
