Method and apparatus for transferring, to a surface installation, products (P) which are contained in a closed reservoir which is at least partially submerged. The apparatus comprises at least one volume (A) equipped with connection means making it possible to connect it in a leaktight manner to the said reservoir of the ship (2), the said volume (A) comprising: 1 - at least one means (P1) for recovering the products (P), connected to one end of a duct (10) for discharging the said products (P) towards storage means (C1 and C2) of the surface installation; 2 - at least one means for injecting, in the form of jets (3f) from a member (3a), a fluid L2 into the said reservoir, connected at one end to a feeding duct (8), whose other end is connected at the level of the surface installation to means for feeding and optionally heating the said fluid; 3 - at least one secondary means (17) for injecting at least one fluid, the said means being connected by a feeding duct (13) to a means for feeding in this fluid located at the level of the surface installation; the said apparatus comprising moreover, on a duct (6), at least one means (7) for establishing a pressure balance between the reservoir and the surrounding medium, and pressure-relief (15) and partial vacuum (16) valves limiting the difference between the pressure existing inside the volume and/or the reservoir and that of the surrounding medium.
