Disposable equipment/aids, especially for use within the hospital and health sector, such as stands for infusion sets, crutches, walking sticks, stretchers, support/traction stands. Said equipment/aids is/are composed of components such as tubular members (1) and connecting members (2) for telescopic connection/connection by insertion with one another. The members are made of an inexpensive, environmentally friendly material, preferably recyclable paper material. Since the relevant components for the different equipment/aids can be packed as sets in packages and the components in the form of tubular members (1) and connecting members (2) can be sterilized in advance or in the package, the relevant equipment/aids, in particular stands for infusion sets, can be kept on a sufficient number of wards in hospitals, in ambulances and in other emergency vehicles for immediate use as and when required, without there being any danger of spreading bacteria and thereby causing a 'hospital infection'.
