The crane truck (1) pushes the work box (2) and platform (4) to a work position on an object, such as an aircraft, in which the opening (14) in the work box is located near to and turned towards the object. The work box has an input air unit which blows fresh air into it, and an output air unit which sucks out polluted air from the work box for subsequent cleaning. The air cleaning plant is fitted in the crane truck as is also a unit (19) for conditioning input air. The input and output air units have components which produce an air curtain between the object (15) and those parts of the work box adjacent to the work opening (14).
