A cover plate provided with cleaning air parts for the cleaning of filter beds such as, e.g., filter hoses for the clean gas chamber of an air and gas filter is, to permit access to the filter hoses for maintenance purposes, rotatably disposed on the filter housing and provided with a maintenance opening and, beneath this, with detachably arranged cleaning air parts, so that on rotation of the cover plate, all the filter hoses become successively accessible via the maintenance opening. The rotatability and also locking of the cover plate in the operating position of the filter are assured by rollers which are guided in a U profile on the upper edge of the filter housing and which are arranged for up-and-down movement on the cover plate.
