ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTIONThere is provided a new and useful security system forconfining a person or object within a designated area andcomprising an electrically operated door restraining device to beinstalled on at least one door; an electronic detection device tobe installed on at least the designated area side of the door andadjacent the door which activates the door restraining deviceresponsive to detected signals to restrain the door in the closedposition; and a remote generating device associated with the personor object for continuously generating the signals.
