Abstract of the DisclosureA method of selectively destroying organisms within apredetermined area is comprised of the steps of introducingvapor phase hydrogen peroxide into the predetermined area ata rate sufficient to cause a predetermined concentration ofhydrogen peroxide to be reached while preventing anysubstantial change in pressure or condensation of thehydrogen peroxide within the predetermined area. Thepredetermined concentration is maintained for a period oftime sufficient for destroying undesirable organisms butinsufficient for harming desirable organisms. When thepredetermined period of time has elapsed, the vapor phasehydrogen peroxide is removed from the area.- 37 -
