METHOD FOR VIDEOTAPING PROGRAM OF TELECAST AND METHOD FOR ELIMINATING DISTORTION IN CONTINUOUS-VIDEOTAPING

A method for detecting only a part to be videotaped of a program telecasted, and eliminating the distortion of a picture which is generated in the joint part when videotaping. A first video data for detection is created by quantization of the signal of the beginning part having a distinctive feature in a program, and the signals during telecast are sampled and digitized to create a second video data. Then, the first video data is compared with the second one to extract required part telecasted. Further, before starting to re-record on the part videotaped previously, recording is performed without video signals on the part of the video tape between the recording head and the erasing head. Then the tape is rewound by the length of the part and re-recording is started.
