OXIDATIVE HAIR DYES CONSISTING OF AN EMULSIFIED DYE CARRIER SUBSTANCE AND AN EMULSIFIED COMPOSITION CONTAINING AN OXIDIZING AGENT AND PROCESS FOR OXIDATIVE DYEING OF HAIR

The present invention relates to a product for dyeing hair by oxidation obtained by mixing an emulsified component (A) (dye carrier), containing 6 to 30% by weight of a thickening mixture, and an emulsified component. (B), containing a product for hair coloring by oxidation and 3 to 12% by weight of a thickening mixture, characterized in that (a) the thickening mixture contained in component (A), based on the total amount of this thickening mixture, contains 60 to 100% by weight of fatty alcohols with 10 to 24 atoms of C, (b) the thickening mixture contained in component (B), relative to the total quantity of this thickening mixture, contains 75 to 100% by weight of fatty alcohols with 10 to 24 C atoms and that (c) the mixing ratio of component (A) to component (B) is 1: 1.7 to 1: 3, as well as a process for coloring hair by oxidation with application of this product. The new product for hair coloring by oxidation is well tolerated by the skin, exhibits good covering power, in particular for coloring graying or gray hair and is characterized by a consistency which allows the product to be applied with a brush and which prevents the product from running on the hair.
