Process and device for combined oxidation of a polluted water, according to which hydrogen peroxide (pure or dilute aqueous solution) and ozone (gaseous or ozone-containing air or oxygen) are injected simultaneously at the entry of the oxidation reactor concurrently with the water to be treated. For example, the reaction (1) is provided with means for injecting at its base, at points which are very close together and simultaneously, ozone (2) and hydrogen peroxide (8) concurrently with the water to be treated (5), with a servo system (10) for controlling the proportions of oxidants. Application to the treatment of water which is to be made potable and of residual and industrial water to be purified. IMAGE
