It makes a routing circuit (130) configurable as either a crossbar switch or as a switch hyperbarres by dividing the chip sections Routing (AAD sections), wherein each section is associated with a group of bands input, and wherein various circuits for granting (272) in each section include input terminals (506) enabling / disabling, connected by switches (400) being controllable either to terminals output enable / disable grant circuits located in an adjacent section (customization hyperbarres) or to fixed logic levels (personalization crossbar). In the configuration crossbar, for each input terminal of a section, only one grant circuit (272) per channel is enabled. Each section comprises a different set of grant channels validated per channel, so that two sections can have access to the same output terminal of the chip routing. In hyperbarres configuration sections are made transparent, and award circuits are enabled or disabled depending on the availability of the output cables. In addition, the routing circuit contains a new binary circuit addresses and routing protocol (252, 258), and a new diagnostic circuit (584) for detecting the cut cables (550) between the routing circuits.
