The device includes a light guide having two ends. One end (15) is connected to a lamp and a handling tube (20, 21) covers the other end and provides the exit for the light guide. One end of the tube is placed near the head of the hand piece to light the work area. The device also includes a support (25) which has an interior surface (26) and an exterior surface (27) and an opening (28) which joins the two surfaces. The tube (20, 21) is fixed on the side of the opening (28) so that the light leaves the guide from the side of the exterior surface (27). USE - For use in dentistry.
