The equipment projects transparent still pictures. It comprises a light source (1), a picture-holder (6) and a lens (8). These are mounted on two or more basic modules (2.-2.3), which are spaced apart and freely movable in relation to each other. The light source can be a halogen spotlight, and can have a radiation angle of 40 deg. or less. Alternatively it can be of 340 deg. or less, and a scatter lens can be cut into use. A light condenser (7) formed by a Fresnel lens can be mounted with the picture-holder on a common module. The source, picture and lens can be at intervals of 0.4m. ADVANTAGE - Does not require a noisy cooling system, allows projection by daylight, and is usable as a floodlight.
