The device is for projection of an object and comprises a housing containing a lens and a transparent surface cart, so that a picture of the object placed in front of the lens is projected onto the transparent surface part. On the transparent surface part, a transparent sheet can now be placed, so that the picture of the object can be covered. A mirror is fitted between the lens and the transparent surface part. A light source is provided for illumination of the object. The distance between the lens and the transparent surface part is adjustable in order to bring the projected picture into sharp focus.
