The invention relates to a concrete lid, fitted onto a prestressed concrete pressure container and held down with clamping elements, for sealing a large passage in the prestressed concrete pressure container. The concrete lid, resting with a contact surface on a corresponding bearing surface of the pressure container, has two annular grooves, in which metal seals are inserted, in this contact surface. The annular grooves are connected by an annular chamber to which a channel leading to the outside is connected. The channel, annular chamber and annular grooves are filled with an organic lubricant under pressure, the pressure in the lubricant being produced with the aid of a diaphragm pressure store arranged outside the concrete lid. A pressure indicating device is connected to the channel for pressure monitoring. Furthermore, the channel is connected to a filling and refilling connection for the lubricant which is likewise outside the concrete lid.
