The arrangement (10) has an element (15) for measuring physical or chemical parameters of a liq. flowing in a pipe and contg. solids which can form deposits on the measurement element, thus reducing its measurement efficiency and/or causing errors. The measurement arrangement contains a curved section (11) of the pipe. The measurement element is mounted in a region (13) of the curved section in which higher flow speeds occur than in other regions. ADVANTAGE - Effectively prevents errors caused by deposits.
