A transducer detecting the pressure in the combustion chamber contains a pin acting on a sensor, a membrane closing off the housing and an electronic evaluation circuit. The pin (18) protrudes partially into a recess (20) in the carrier (21) of a hybrid circuit (22) with sensors (24) on the recess side walls. The pin and recess side walls are designed to cause a wedge effect. USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for use in vehicle engines, relatively high loading of sensor elements is achieved by a simple design.
