摘要
Viruses and viral diseases are controlled in humans and animals by treatment with nucleases (I) isolated from bovine pancreas. (I) also include ribonucleases and deoxyribonucleases, specifically DNaseI. USE/ADVANTAGE - (I) are able to inhibit activity of viruses in humans or animals, and are effective against all viral diseases. Also (I) are rapidly broken down in the liver and do not harm the host. In an example rodents having a limited, ectodermal infection with herpes virus were treated with an ointment contg. 30000 ppm (I). After 3 repeat applications, the treated regions were free of virus.
