The implement for taking up, cutting and distributing bales of straw or fodder, consists of one or more horizontal rotating roller cutters (12) which are fed the bales, after they have been cut by the cutters (9,10), by a conveyor belt with transverse bars (11) located at the bottom of the loading room (7). Below this conveyor is another one (13) at right angles to it. A double cutter (8) is arranged at the front of the loading room and this comprises a vertical (9) and a horizontal (10) oscillating cutters which cut the bales (6) as they are lifted up from the ground by a swinging platform (1) to a vertical position and pushed into the cutters. USE/ADVANTAGE - The cutters divide the bales which are subsequently processed by the roller cutters.
