An electronic multiplier-divider circuit generates the products and quotients by a real method and contains a switchable parallel-addition-subtraction circuit. Only each third, fourth, fifth or sixth pulse causes a parallel addition or subtraction or, in exceptional cases, a shift. The circuit can contain two four-cycle pulse circuits, in which case every fourth pulse causes a parallel addition or subtraction as long as the pulse does not cause a shift. USE/ADVANTAGE - Contains shift register which can be changed over between use for division or multiplication.
