The peeling plant (1) incorporates first and second peeling stages, a peel separator (2) consisting of a double sieve floor stage (2a), double electrical separators (2b) and a single electrical separator. The sunflower seeds after cleaning have their peel removed by striking. The separtion of the peeled seeds is achieved by combined single and two-staged sieving, and fraction-divided single and double electrical sieving. The first core fraction is withdrawn directly from the second stage of sieving.
