Video projection system for slides or film - uses optical fibre coupling between two spaced projection planes with intermediate image enlargement

The projection system includes a projection surface (1) receiving the projected image which is divided into a matrix of partical images (3, 3`) each transmitted to an second projection plane (2) via a corresp. number of optical fibres (5, 6). The partial images in the first plane are smaller than those in the second plane for enlarging the projected image. The edge of the partial images pref. overlapping. Pref. the optical fibres between the projection planes are combined to provide an endoscopic optical fibre cable with entry and exit lenses (7, 8; 9, 10). ADVANTAGE - Allows image to be viewed at remote point from projection device.
