An arrangement for printing frames moves the frames (3) along a transport path (5) to a printing mechanism with the surface of the frames to be printed facing the transport path. The transport path has one or more press bars (17) acting on the rear of the frames which are moved by a toothed belt (18) with a non-slip drive and drive dogs (21). The press. enable elastically flexible action on frames of different thickness. ADVANTAGE - Enables frames of different thicknesses and frames with large manufacturing tolerances to be printed. Accurate frame transport is achieved suitable for use with dot matrix printers.
