Separating valve for anti-lock braking unit - is arranged between main and wheel braking cylinders in which alternative and control pistons or valve form mechanical functional unit
The mechanical functional unit puts into reciprocating and rotary motion a stepper drive with connected eccentric parts, whereby a switching function activates a regulating value, determined by electronic scanning. The cam carrier (5) driven by the stepper drive and rotating about its axis, displaces in to movement the alternative piston (2) arranged spatially separate in the valve housing (1) and for each alternative piston (2) a sliding control valve (4) is provided which during the movement of the alternative piston, closes the connection to the main braking cylinder (HZ) or ensures the continuous braking ability of the braking system. The cam carrier has 4-12 cams in its cam carrying ring (51), which corresponds to an even number of the alternative pistons (2). Alternative pistons (2) for several braking circuits are accommodated in the valve housing. USE/ADVANTAGE - Separating valve esp. for anti-brake locking unit. Alternative piston only carries out stroke movement with holding of pulse frequency, and independently with failure of drive, ensures full working of braking system by position taken by the stroke.
