A type `A' battery box accommodates a mini-cell in order that it may be used as a baby cell. It can also take a baby cell or a type `B' box. It has a spring arrangement which allows it to accommodate the types of battery in question, retaining them in the battery holder under spring pressure. The arrangement allows an appts. which normally operates on three mono-cells to be operated with one mono-cell, a baby cell or a mini-cell. USE/ADVANTAGE - To operate electrical appts., such as pocket lamp, when correct type of battery is not at hand.
