C-arch X=ray appts. adjuster for lithotripsy - has deflector unit directing light beams projected onto focus point of X=ray tube to point marked on projection screen

The adjuster is assigned to a focussed impact wave lithotripter which is fitted with a support for two X-ray absorbing datum points defining first and second lines with the focal point of the impact waves. The support (T) carries the light source (L), a beam splitter (VS) and two deflectors (A1,A2) so the beam is split into two (T1,2). The frist beam (T1) is deflected (A1) to lie on the first line (G1) and the second beam (T2) deflected to lie on the second line (G2). A deflecting unit (AE) on the X-ray appts. deflects beams directed onto the tube (RR) focus (FRR) into a point (FRR') marked on a projection screen (PSCH). The light source is pref. a laser generator. The deflector units (A1,A2) on the support (T) are pref. deflecting prisms or divided optical plates. The deflector unit (AE) includes a flat mirror set at an angle and one or more collimating lenses (L1) to shorten the light path. USE/ADVANTAGE - Non-invasive surgery, lithotripsy.
