Serial conveying system for discs or coins - uses single electric drive motor for initial feed device and take=off conveyor

The conveying system has a feed device (A) for serial feed of a number of successive discs or coins and a transport conveyor (B) receiving the latter from the feed device (A), driven by a single electric motor (2). The feed device (A) and the transport conveyor (B) can be coupled together via an intermediate mechanism (C), allowing the conveyor (B) to be operated at a higher transport rate than the feed rate of the feed device (A). ADVANTAGE - Eliminates need for 2 separate drive motors.
