A hanging bracket for suspending a mono rail in a mining gallery or tunnel, consists of an almost rectangular plate with two sides (9, 10) bent down at right angles. The middle part (4, 5) between the sides is formed into a profiled traverse (3) with inward projecting tongues (17, 17') and shoulders (15, 16) in the shape of a V. There are cut outs (6, 7) in the sides (9, 10) which conform in shape to the V of the tongues (15, 16, 17, 17'). USE/ADVANTAGE - Gives optimum support compatible with a resonable shape.
