The longitudinal stator linear electric motor has frequency regulators (FT1) supplying each of the stator sections (n,n+1), for providing the transducer fields, through which the vehicle (V1) acting as the rotor is displaced. The movement of the vehicle (V1) is used to couple the stator windings (A,B) with the frequency regulator (FT1). Pref. the vehicle (V1) has the same number of current take-offs as the number of stator winding phases (A,B). ADVANTAGE - Eliminates need for separate switching of stator sections.
