The arrangement for evaluating parameters measured on a rotating shaft contains a rotation angle indicator (2-6) which converts the detected parameter into a corresp. rotation angle parameter (alaphaM) and a rotation angle detector with a counter and a sensor arrangement (10,11) rotatable w.r.t. the rotation angle indicator which derives the measurement parameter. A counter counts the pulses of a signal source whilst the sensor is detecting the rotation angle parameter. A second counter counts either the first or a second signal source during a reference period during which the sensor is turning through a reference angle (alphaR). The measurement parameter is derived from the quotient of the counter states. ADVANTAGE - Achieves high resolution with fully digital operation despite very simple structure.
