The runners have two sections running in a straight line and at an acute angle to one another, having a shorter rear section (3a) and a longer front section (3b), so that the tipping axis (6) of the foot support is located in the area of the angle vertex between the two runner sections (3a,3b). In the area of the angle vertex, the runners are provided with a slip brake. ADVANTAGE - A foot support for workers who remain seated in their occupation, and which promotes exercise of the leg musculature.
