The fuel, used by vehicles on a construction site, is stored in a tank installed on the site. This storage tank has a connector pipe (10) to which the filler valve is connected. The filler valve can be connected to the filler hose which is connected to the tank of the fuel delivery vehicle. The filler valve has an opening for a dip stick for checking the quantity of fuel in the storage tank. This opening is sealed by a screw cover. The filler valve also incorporates a connection which allows fuel vapour in the delivery vehicle flowing into the storage tank and to oscillate beween the two tanks.
