Removal of weathered asbestos fibres - involves cooling to below 0 deg. C, spraying on water and allowing ice to melt

The process is for renovation of weathered asbestos cement and for the removal of asbestos cement fibres. The cement surfaces are cooled to a temp. below the freezing point of water and the cooled surfaces are then sprayed with water, causing an ice sheet to form. At ambient temp., the ice sheet melts, and the resulting water comes away with loosened asbestos fibres. The fibres are then collected for disposal. The fibre-free asbestos cement surface, after drying, is coated with paint or other suitable coating material. USE - To renovate weathered asbestos cement surfaces, and remove asbestos cement fibres.
