Fluid container with pump and float - has level indicator forming inverted U with pump avoiding extra fluid pipes

The level indicator (7) is mounted at a distance at the side of the pump (13). It projects from the top through the opening (5) into the fluid container (1). An opening (15) for inserting the suction pipe (14) of the pump (13) is mounted at the side of the opening (5) for the level indicator (7). The float (8) of the level indicator (7) is pref. set in a float housing (6) which forms one unit with the pump (13) and which has a ventilation opening (12) towards the fluid container. The float housing can have a heating unit (18) to prevent freezing of the fluid. USE/ADVANTAGE - Low cost construction of level indicator avoids use of extra fluid pipe leading from container to level indicator.
