Pasta machine uses a slotted dough container contg. a moving piston and a scraper. The scraper is moved and fro above the container slot off a LT motor via a pushrod mounted ecentrically on a fly-wheel. Pref. the dough container (16) is closed off by a scraper plate, with the slot arranged between the plate and the edge of the container. The piston is drivably coupled to the motor through a drive pinion, transport screw and rack. ADVANTAGE - Motor-powerd scraper plate and piston produces pasta, almost to hand-worked standard.
