Guide mechanism for continuous paper output from computer printer - provides guide paths for paper collection at front and rear of printer, with adjustable edge guides

The paper guide attachment is clipped on to the top of a printer. It incorporates guide surfaces for continuous (fanfold) paper to be collected to the front (530) or the rear (41) of the printer. It also includes a support (411) which can be fixed into a raised position to support single-sheet paper. The spring-loaded front guide (53) moves forward automatically (D) when the paper is pulled (AP) to be separated at the tearing edge. An internal guide prevents any smearing of wet ink by the tearing edge during printing. USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for ink-jet printer. Avoids smearing when printed paper is fed towards front of printer.
