The frquency divider (FT) intended for short e.m. waves is equipped with an amplifying FET synchronised to an incoming wave, providing an input frequency (fo) and producing a divided frequency (ft). The input frequency is a whole-number multiple of the divided frequency. This divided frequency can be obtained from a part of the signal on the output (D) of the FET, while the output is also fed back to a first input of the FET through a coupling network (KN1) in such a way that, in the case of the feedback of a wave with the divided frequency, the phase rotation in the FET is complemented to a value of 360 deg. or a whole number multiple of this. A second coupling netowrk (KN2) is connected to the second input (S) of the FET for a connecter-feedback and the incoming wave is fed through this to the FET. USE/ADVANTAGE - Can be used for waves covering wide frequency band. Suitable for communications systems.
