The fertiliser placer ground share has a curved cutting edge which is pivoted round a transverse axis on the share post and held in the active position against a stop by a spring. At the cutting edge (7) the share (5) should have a working part (9) equidistant from pivot joint (4) and cutting edge (7) and also a yielding part (10) whose distance between joint (4) and edge (7) decreases as the pivot angle increases. The spring (14) lies between share post (3) and share (5) and its hinge points (15,16) are so arranged as to exert a rising pre-tension moment on the share in the working part (9) and a flat or falling moment on the share in the yield part (10).
