The catchment profile (12) covers the inclined surface of the lock catch (10) bridging over the gap between the lock-side face surface of the door panel (1) and a counterposed surface of the door frame (3). It is secured to an arm (13) on the door frame by a welded, riveted or screw union (14). The catchment profile can be of steel plate, aluminium, brass of plastics and at least the arm (15) facing the door panel is spring-elastically deformable. The catchment profile (12) and the frame profile (3) or the catchment profile and a closure plate are of one piece construction. The catchment profile has a length of at least 200 mm, and extends over the length of the lock box-side arm of the frame profile (3). USE/ADVANTAGE - To secure a lock catch against manipulation from the closed to the open position.
