There is to be created a container for a plant root ball which makes removal of the plant from the pot particularly easy and yet allows the container to be reused. In a container with separating lines in the side walls and in the bottom of the pot, this object is achieved by designing at least the edges of the lateral separating lines in such a way that a nonpositive or positive connection to each other is possible.
