PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for measuring the quantity of liquid drops being ejected from a liquid ejection recording head in which the quantity of each ejected liquid drop can be measured accurately, an inspection system of liquid ejection recording head, a liquid ejection recorder, a manufacturing system of liquid ejection recording head, and a liquid ejection recording head.;SOLUTION: The liquid drop is ejected, not in parallel with the direction of gas flow, from a head 1 into a steady gas flow region where the gas generated by moving two planar glass plates 2 in the horizontal direction at a constant speed flows at a constant known velocity. Before the moving direction of the liquid drop matches the direction of the gas flow, an observation system measures the moving speed component of the liquid drop in the gas flow direction a plurality of times. Quantity of the liquid drop of which the velocity is measured is then calculated using the measured velocity value, the time interval of measurement, and the velocity value of the gas flow.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
