This method consists in performing separative analysis by means of gas chromatography of the mixture of organic compounds constituting the product, in referencing, by means of a combination of gas-phase chromatography/mass spectrometry, one or more molecules which are characteristic of the mixture, in measuring, by isotopic mass spectrometry, the 13C isotopic abundance of this or these molecules and, finally, in modifying the 13C content of this or these molecules by addition of molecules which are similar but the 13C content of which has previously been increased or reduced.
